Cyp6p locus¶
This page provides information about the Cyp6aa, Cyp6p and Cyp6ad cytochrome P450 gene cluster, a locus for which there is prior evidence of recent positive selection and/or an association with insecticide resistance in Anopheles mosquitoes.
The locus occurs on chromosome arm 2R from position 28,480,576 to 28,505,816.
The locus contains the following 11 genes: AGAP002859 (solute carrier family 8 (sodium/calcium exchanger)), AGAP002862 (CYP6AA1 - cytochrome P450), AGAP013128 (CYP6AA2 - cytochrome P450), AGAP002863 (COEAE6O - carboxylesterase alpha esterase), AGAP002864 (CYP6P15P - cytochrome P450), AGAP002865 (CYP6P3 - cytochrome P450), AGAP002866 (CYP6P5 - cytochrome P450), AGAP002867 (CYP6P4 - cytochrome P450), AGAP002868 (CYP6P1 - cytochrome P450), AGAP002869 (CYP6P2 - cytochrome P450), AGAP002870 (CYP6AD1 - cytochrome P450).
